Tucson Outdoors

  • Saguaro National Park is split into two districts: the Rincon Mountain District to the East of Tucson and the Tucson Mountain District, which lies just West of the city.

The park provides ample opportunities for activities like hiking, whether for a quick jaunt along a paved nature trail in the Tucson Mountain District or a hike up Mica Mountain, the highest peak in the Rincon Mountains, which is covered in lush conifer forest near the summit.
